While tidying, I found an old piece of paper with a few idle thoughts scribbled on it, dating back to 2001.

The first note was simply the word "TELESPLURGE". I'm not sure what it means, but it seems like the kind of thing that should be a real word.

Second, "MAN HELD AFTER COIN THROWN AT CUP TIE". I read this in a newspaper at the time and found it vaguely amusing, not because of the reality behind the story, but because I initially interpreted the headline as "A man was hugged after he threw a coin at a cup which was wearing a tie".

The final note is "SILLY FACE". I can't remember what I wrote this down for.

These notes were written on was a torn-off section of a printout of Dog's Life source code. Only one full line of code (written in the proprietary scripting language we used at the time) was visible, it reads as follows:
